Frequently asked questions
How much does a truck or overland mount cost?
About $400–$1,000 in labor (estimate — few published figures).
Is a mount on a roof rack safe at highway speed?
Only with hardware rated for in-motion use and the right service plan. Have an installer check torque, wind load and cable strain relief.
Can I power it from my vehicle?
Usually through a 12V DC conversion or a power station; an installer can wire it with proper fusing.
You buy your own equipment and service plan directly from the provider. Installers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of SatSetup Pro or SpaceX.
